Job Description

Role: ServiceNow Developer Department: IT – ServiceNow Practice Experience: 5+ Years Work Mode: Work from Office Location: Hyderabad

Responsibilities

  • • Design, develop, and customize ServiceNow applications with a strong focus on ITSM, ITOM, and custom modules. • Implement and support ServiceNow Order Management for Telecommunications (OMT) solutions as per business requirements (mandatory). • Develop and maintain ServiceNow components including Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes, Workflows, and Flow Designer. • Build and enhance front-end components using JavaScript, HTML/CSS, AngularJS, and ServiceNow UI frameworks. • Manage and execute ServiceNow platform upgrades, patches, and migrations, ensuring minimal disruption. • Design, develop, and support integrations with external systems such as LDAP, SCCM, Azure, AWS, and third-party tools using REST/SOAP APIs. • Ensure adherence to ServiceNow development best practices, including secure coding, version control, code reviews, and automated testing. • Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. • Configure and support HRSD, CSM, SecOps, and other ServiceNow modules as needed. • Utilize Performance Analytics, Virtual Agent, and Mobile Studio to improve platform efficiency and user experience. • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and continuous improvement initiatives. • Troubleshoot complex platform issues, perform root cause analysis, and deliver timely resolutions. • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specs and deployment guides. • Provide post-implementation support, enhancements, and knowledge transfer to support teams.

Requirements

  • • 5+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer with hands-on exposure to ITSM, ITOM, and/or custom modules. • Mandatory: Strong experience with ServiceNow Order Management for Telecommunications (OMT). • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AngularJS, and ServiceNow UI technologies. • Strong understanding of ServiceNow data model, table structure, and platform architecture. • Experience in ServiceNow platform upgrades, patching, and migrations. • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST/SOAP APIs with systems such as LDAP, SCCM, Azure, and AWS. • Knowledge of ServiceNow development best practices, including code reviews, version control, and testing. • ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, or CIS are preferred. • Experience with additional modules like HRSD, CSM, or SecOps is a plus. • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, DevOps practices, and ITIL frameworks. • Exposure to Performance Analytics, Virtual Agent, and Mobile Studio is an advantage. • Strong problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. • Excellent communication, collaboration, and analytical skills. • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
